What we collect from you
Your privacy is important to ChargeSingh and we will only collect, record, hold, store and use your personal information as set out below. Personal information means any information, recorded electronically or otherwise, relating to an identified or identifiable person.
We will only collect information that is relevant to the service we are providing to you, and we will keep it only for as long as the law requires or the purpose it was collected for lasts. If you choose not to give us information we have asked for, we may not be able to help with your enquiry.
Contact and enquiry details
When you ask us for a quote or send us a message, you may be asked for your name, email address, phone number, your location or postcode, and details of your vehicle and your property, so that we can recommend a charger and price an installation.
Installation details
Where you go ahead with an installation, we collect what the work requires: the installation address, details of your electrical supply and distribution board, and, where the installation needs one, the information for an application to Tenaga Nasional Berhad.
After-sales support
Your contact details and your record of correspondence with us, including by email, WhatsApp, social media and our support line, together with the charger model, serial number, installation date and any fault report.
Third-party services we use
This website does not take payments and does not process card details. The third-party services it does use are:
- HubSpot. The enquiry and quote forms on this site are submitted to HubSpot, a customer relationship management service, which stores what you send us so our team can respond. HubSpot processes and stores this data outside Malaysia, and its own privacy policy governs how it does so.
- Google Analytics. On the live site we measure page visits so we can see which pages are useful. This is statistical rather than personal: we do not use it to identify you.
- Google Maps and YouTube. The contact page embeds a map and some pages embed video. Loading an embed involves a request to Google, which may set cookies. Video is embedded through youtube-nocookie.com, which does not set tracking cookies until you play the video.
Once you leave this website or are taken to a third-party site, this policy no longer applies to you and that site's own policy does.
How we use your personal data
We use your personal data to answer your enquiry, to quote for and carry out an installation, to provide after-sales support, to send you information about our services where you have agreed to receive it, and to meet our obligations under the law.
Who we share it with
We share your information within the SOLS 24/7 Group and with the third parties that are necessary to deliver the service you asked for. Where an installation is carried out by our installation partner, the details that the work requires are shared with them. In exceptional circumstances we may be required to disclose personal information, for example where disclosure is necessary to prevent a threat to life or health, or where the law requires it.
ChargeSingh is committed to complying with the Personal Data Protection Act 2010, its policies, guidelines and orders. If you believe your privacy has been breached, please contact us and we will look into it.
Your rights
You may ask us for access to the personal data we hold about you and ask us to correct it. You may opt out of marketing messages from us at any time. To do either, contact us using the details below.
We store personal data so that it stays accurate and confidential, and is protected against loss, misuse, unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration and destruction. We keep it for as long as the purpose it was collected for lasts, or for as long as the law requires.
